This postcard features a photo of the EPHRATA Train Station in Downtown Ephrata, Pennsylvania. The station was built in 1889 and was part of the Reading and Columbia rail line. While passenger service ended in 1949, it continued to handle freight until the early 1970s. Since December 2005, the station has been home to the Tourism Center, which serves the Ephrata Area and the northern end of Lancaster County. The postcard also includes contact information for Downtown Ephrata, Inc., and a space reserved for the U.S. Postal Service. The photo on the postcard was taken by Leon S. Fox and edited by Al Morrison.
