This vintage postcard focuses on the image of the flags from the fifty states that flank the walkway to the gravesite of former president Harry S. Truman. The postcard mentions that Mr. Truman was buried in the courtyard on December 28, 1972, following an official state funeral in the Library’s auditorium. The flags were donated by the Harry S. Truman Chapter of the Air Force Association.
