Back of PostcardWelcome to the Plymouth National Wax Museum in Plymouth, Massachusetts!

One of the key exhibits at our museum is the Massasoit Treaty of April 1621. This treaty was a result of the friendship between Samoset and the Pilgrims, who then met Massasoit, the sachem of the Wampanoag tribe. A simple peace treaty was made to protect the rights of both the Indians and the Pilgrims. This pact was periodically renewed and was never seriously violated until the death of Massasoit 40 years later.

The Plymouth National Wax Museum is dedicated to preserving and showcasing important moments in history, such as the Massasoit Treaty. Our exhibits aim to educate and inspire visitors about the past and the significance of events like this treaty.
