Exploring the Old Grist Mill in the Oldest City in the U.S.A.
Greetings from St. Augustine, Florida! Today, I had the pleasure of visiting the Old Grist Mill, a historic site located near the city gates. As I walked through the charming streets, I couldn’t help but admire the old water wheel that once powered the mill.
The Old Grist Mill is a true testament to the rich history of this city, which is the oldest in the United States. The school house nearby adds to the nostalgic atmosphere, making it a must-see for anyone visiting St. Augustine.
I can’t wait to come back and explore more of this beautiful city. The Florida Souvenir Co. has truly captured the essence of St. Augustine in their postcards, and I couldn’t resist sending one to Aunt Beans to share my experience.
If you ever find yourself in St. Augustine, be sure to visit the Old Grist Mill and take a step back in time. The history and charm of this place will leave you in awe.
With love from St. Augustine,
