Greetings from Chatham College!
We received this lovely postcard from Brenda, a student at Chatham College, who is currently studying at the Julia and James Rea House on Woodland Road in Pittsburgh. Brenda wanted to let her grandmother know that she is thinking of her and that everything is going well at school.
In this digital age, it’s rare to receive a postcard in the mail, but Brenda wanted to send her love in a way that a letter couldn’t quite capture. She promises to write a proper letter soon, but in the meantime, she hopes her grandmother knows how much she is loved and missed.
Brenda also mentions that she will be seeing her grandmother at Thanksgiving, which is just around the corner. It’s heartwarming to see the bond between Brenda and her grandmother, and we hope they have a wonderful reunion during the holiday season.
The postcard features a beautiful image taken by Bob Wyer in Delhi, N.Y., showcasing the beauty of the countryside. It’s a reminder of the simple joys in life and the importance of staying connected with loved ones, even from a distance.
We wish Brenda and her grandmother a happy Thanksgiving and look forward to hearing more about their reunion. Stay tuned for more updates from Chatham College!
Warm regards,
The Chatham College Community
