Pocahontas is a historic town in Southwest Virginia, established in 1882, known for its coal mining industry. The town features an Exhibition mine where visitors can learn about the mining history of the area. Additionally, Pocahontas is home to an Opera House, a Cemetery, and several old Churches that add to its quaint charm.
