This postcard features Nijo Castle, a historical landmark in Kyoto, Japan. The castle was built by Tokugawa Ieyasu in the 8th year of the Keicho era. The main attraction at Nijo Castle is the Ninomaru Palace, which consists of five interconnected buildings constructed in the traditional shoin-zukuri architectural style.
