Alaska is known for its diverse marine life, including the majestic WHALES that can often be spotted in Alaskan waters. These whales are typically seen traveling in family groups, known as pods, consisting of 12 to 20 whales. The annual migration of these whales takes them south to Puget Sound and along the West Coast.
