The postcard features a statue of Hiawatha located at Riverside Park in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The statue was built in 1962 by local artist Anthony Zimmerhakl and his sons. It stands at the north end of Riverside Park, marking the confluence of the Black, La Crosse, and Mississippi Rivers in the Hiawatha Valley.
