Welcome to K-88 Picturesque Music Camp in Transylvania!
Founded and directed by James Christian Pfohl, our camp is nestled at the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains near Brevard, North Carolina. The stunning natural surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for our music program, which has gained recognition through the famed Brevard Music Festival held each August.
At K-88, we offer a unique and immersive music experience for campers of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner looking to explore your musical talents or an advanced musician seeking to hone your craft, our camp provides a supportive and inspiring environment for growth and creativity.
Our campers have the opportunity to participate in a variety of music classes, workshops, and performances, all led by experienced and passionate instructors. From classical to jazz, from choir to orchestra, there is something for everyone at K-88.
In addition to our music program, campers can also enjoy the beauty of the surrounding mountains and take part in outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, and campfire sing-alongs.
