Greetings from the South!
I hope this postcard finds you well. I am currently traveling with Ken in Pennsylvania, and we are having a wonderful time exploring all that this beautiful state has to offer. From there, we will be heading to Fort Big for a day of adventure before making our way to Mount Hood.
We have been enjoying our stay in North Carolina with our friend Tom, indulging in delicious food and taking in the stunning scenery. Unfortunately, we will be leaving tomorrow, but the memories we have made here will last a lifetime.
One of the highlights of our trip was visiting The Little White House in Warm Springs, Georgia. This historic site was built by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1932 and was the place of his passing on April 12. The house, along with several other buildings and acres of land, were deeded to Georgia in 1947 and now serve as a memorial to the late President.
