The postcard features the Oldest House in the U.S.A., located in USXM4. It is a historic site that was once part of the ancient Analco Pueblo around 1200 A.D. The house has connections to De Vargas, a Spanish officer, in 1692. Adjacent to the San Miguel Mission, the Oldest House survived the 1680 Pueblo Revolt. It now showcases Indian and Mexican arts and crafts, including handmade jewelry and rugs. The site offers free admission and sells souvenirs like custom skirts and pottery.
