Back of PostcardThe postcard features a color photo of the Peniocereus greggii, also known as the Night Blooming Cereus or deerhorn cactus, which is Arizona’s most beautiful night blooming cactus. There are five other nocturnal flowering cacti in the state, including the famous giant saguaro. The large flowers of the Peniocereus greggii emit a jasmine-like aroma that can be smelled for hundreds of feet. The flowers mostly bloom in June and July.
