The postcard depicts a bird’s eye view of Lamy, New Mexico, a town located between Las Vegas and Albuquerque. Lamy is named after the Archbishop who founded a convent in the town. The walls of the convent are still standing, and the Archbishop also taught the local Indigenous people in a small adobe schoolhouse.
