This postcard features the interior of the Thimble Shoal Channel Tunnel in Norfolk, Virginia. The Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel (C.B.B.T.) is made up of 12 miles of low level concrete trestle, two one-mile tunnels, two steel bridges, and four man-made islands.
