The postcard features a photograph of St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City, located at Fifth Avenue and Fiftieth Street. The cathedral was dedicated on May 25, 1879, by Archbishop Hughes after 26 years of construction. The land on which the cathedral stands has been owned by the Catholic Church since 1810.
